We are looking for experienced instructors who enjoy students first and instruction second. As a Sophos instructor, you will work with students to help improve general concept mastery.
You will also have the autonomy to utilize instructional methods and curricula of your choosing. Ideally, this instructor would be confident in language arts / math grades 1-8.
Sophos' ideal candidate is available a minimum of 3-5 pm M-Th.
Job Type : Part-time or Full-Time
Salary : $30-35 / hour
Compensation : $30 - $35 hourly

Responsibilities :
- Work 1-on-1 with students who are struggling to grasp grade-level concepts
- Collaborate with parents and teachers
- Provide private tutoring in student homes and in Sophos' state-of-the-art facility
- You will not need to write lesson plans
Qualifications :
- Available during some or most of the required times (3 pm -6 pm M - Th)
- Able to commute to Sophos Speech and Academics
- Personable and genuinely enjoys being around children
- Able to listen well and respond to the data provided by teachers
- Professional and reliable
