NYC Insurer located NYC (not remote) seeks a knowledgeable Claims Examiner that has expertise handling high exposure litigated commercial bodily injury auto claims, often involving policies containing an MC90 coverage endorsement for Public Liability under the Motor Carrier Act. Work in a highly professional atmosphere with skilled colleagues. Our offices are centrally located and newly renovated.

About the Role

Your caseload will be challenging and require you to use your intelligence and initiative. You will be working closely with defense counsel, strategizing and negotiating so as to bring cases to an effective resolution, up to and including a verdict, when appropriate.

Responsibilities

• Handle high exposure litigated commercial bodily injury auto claims.
• Work with defense counsel to strategize and negotiate cases.
• Bring cases to an effective resolution, including verdicts when appropriate.
