Kenosha Community Media, Inc., is seeking a part-time (10 hrs / wk) Executive Director to enthusiastically manage and promote the many aspects of their telecommunications organization.
Kenosha Community Media (KCM) is a media resource and provider, engaged in the social good and promoting community relationships, education, and awareness. Programming for Spectrum Channel 14 in the Kenosha, WI area is managed by KCM.
The Executive Director of KCM is the chief executive and financial officer, and is responsible for overseeing the administration, programs, finances, and strategic plan of the organization. Other key duties include program and fund development, marketing, and community outreach.
Most of the duties of the Executive Director will be done remotely, however, there will also be in-person meetings, promotional events, and other occasions that may require face-to-face interaction. This position reports to the KCM Board of Directors.
The perfect candidate will be a high energy, extrovert who is comfortable using computer applications. They also need to have a keen understanding of finance and be highly skilled as a communicator. Prior non-profit organization experience is preferred but not required.
Compensation : This is a salaried position and pays $956.25 per month.
Probationary Period : The candidate hired will serve a 6-month probationary period.
Term of Employment : Until the end of 2026. The term is renewable on an annual basis pending a positive evaluation from the KCM Board of Directors.
