Job description

Overview :

Our client is seeking an experienced Sales Engineer to join theirteam i. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of technical sales experience, preferably with a background in industrial or commercial steam boiler / HVAC sales, or mechanical / electrical / chemical sales. This role involves managing extended sales cycles, pursuing and following up on leads, and requires familiarity with governmental emissions regulations. Participation in trade shows and conferences is also a key component of this role. The position involves regular travel within California and surrounding areas, with up to 25% of the time spent on the road.

Reports to : National Sales Manager

What you will be doing :

Building and maintaining customer relations

Writing proposals

What you must have :

Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Business

5+ years of technical experience in the industrial field

Proven success in presenting information to various audiences

Strong verbal and written communication skills

Proficiency in MS Word and Excel

Ability to multi-task effectively

Basic understanding of thermodynamics

General knowledge of commercial steam systems
