Responsibilities
Lead assigned staff in performing activities or tasks in vascular diagnostic services.
- Lead or coordinate shift operations of assigned activities, resources, and / or associates.
- Serve as a technical or functional resource and perform similar duties with staff.
- Assign, monitor and review progress of work.
- Monitor and report compliance with policies and / or procedures.
- Oversee and evaluate orientation and training of assigned associates.
- May provide input in the review and evaluation of staff performance.
Requirements
Licensure / Certification / Registration :
- BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
- One or more of the following required :
- Medical Sonographer credentialed from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
Certification from Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) also accepted.
Sonography Tech specializing in Vascular Sonography credentialed from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
Any specialty accepted.
Radiologic Technologist specializing in Radiography credentialed from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
State Radiology Technologist licensure issued by Maryland Board of Physicians required.
Education :
High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's
degree / Technical degree with 1 year of experience OR 5 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
Additional Preferences
- Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) Certification
- 5 years vascular sonography experience
- Managerial or supervisory experience
