Position Overview :
We are seeking a highly motivated and hands-on Manufacturing Engineer to join our growing production facility. This role plays a critical part in setting up new production lines, optimizing existing processes, and driving continuous improvement initiatives throughout the plant. The ideal candidate will bring strong technical knowledge, practical problem-solving skills, and a passion for Lean and Six Sigma methodologies in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
What your day-to-day will look like :
Lead the planning, design, and implementation of production lines for new products, ensuring efficiency, safety, and adherence to quality standards.
Provide day-to-day engineering support to the production team by troubleshooting equipment, addressing process issues, and implementing corrective actions.
Identify opportunities for waste reduction, process standardization, and cost savings using Lean Six Sigma tools and structured problem-solving methods.
Develop and maintain work instructions, process documentation, and standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure consistency across all operations.
Partner with Quality, Maintenance, Supply Chain, and Operations to support new product introductions and improve existing workflows.
Provide training and mentorship to production personnel to enhance understanding of new processes and encourage a culture of continuous improvement.
Participate in training and learning opportunities, including occasional travel to other locations for product or process training.
