What You'll Do :

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.

Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.

Conduct regular and random patrols around the government location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.

Monitor for and report suspicious activities or security-related hazards within the premises.

Maintain a visible presence to help to deter potential disruptions or criminal activity.

Interact professionally with visitors, staff, and / or the public while upholding site-specific protocols.

Document and communicate incidents, observations, and / or irregularities to the appropriate personnel.

Operate and handle assigned equipment, including firearms, in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific protocols.

Minimum Requirements :

A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

Graduate of law enforcement or military police training program or equivalent is required.

An armed guard card or license is required.

Two or more years of experience in law enforcement, military, or corrections is required.

Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Participate in industry-specific security training programs.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
