What You'll Do :

Carry out security-related procedures and follow site-specific policies while providing excellent customer service to all individuals at the government location.

Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner, utilizing appropriate emergency response protocols as needed.

Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the premises and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify any potential concerns.

Monitor access points and verify credentials of individuals entering and exiting the location to support a secure environment.

Report and document any security-related incidents, suspicious activities, or hazards promptly to the appropriate authorities and Allied Universal management.

Maintain a visible presence throughout the assigned area to help to deter unauthorized activity and promote a sense of order.

Collaborate with law enforcement or emergency personnel as required during incidents or investigations.

Remain alert and prepared to respond to any security-related concerns or emergencies that may arise during the shift.

Minimum Requirements :

A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

Graduate of law enforcement or military police training program or equivalent is required.

An armed guard card or license is required.

Two or more years of law enforcement, military, or corrections experience is required.

Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Participate in industry-specific security training programs.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
