In Room Dining Manager

The In Room Dining Manager is an essential member of the Food & Beverage leadership team which is dedicated to providing exceptional quality and service to our guests and employees.

What you will do :

Supervise the consistency, quality and efficiency of food and beverage service and amenities for the hotel's guest rooms & suites.

Monitor all amenities so they are delivered on time and are properly maintained.

Ensure the cleanliness of Room Service and guest hallways by establishing and enforcing clean-up schedules.

Prepare weekly, monthly and yearly goals and budgets.

Prepare staff schedules according to forecasts, daily and weekly payroll reports and scheduled functions.

Coordinate and execute functions or special receptions in rooms, suites and boardrooms.

Successful candidates will be a willing team player, comfortable with electronic systems and willing to accept assignments on as need basis, in order to promote teamwork.

The ability to multitask and prioritize is essential for this position.

What you bring :

Thorough knowledge of guest service, cost control, labor control, merchandising, and accounting.

One to two years previous employment in a related position.

A college degree is preferred.

Previous experience in a luxury hotel, or similar environment.

Attention to detail and problem-solving skills, as well as a passion for customer service.

Ability to operate computer equipment and other food & beverage computer systems.

Reading, writing and oral proficiency in the English language.
