This position is based in San Diego, CA or Princeton, New Jersey. Acadia's hybrid model requires this role to work in our office three days per week on average.
Position Summary
The Associate Director, Global Offices & Workplace Experience will assist in strategic planning and operational execution for global workplace environments. This role is responsible for assisting with office and facility operations, workplace strategy, capital projects, and environmental health and safety (EH&S) programs across the organization. The ideal candidate will bring a forward-thinking approach to workplace experience, integrating culture, technology, and sustainability into physical spaces while ensuring compliance, safety, and operational efficiency.
Primary Responsibilities
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience. Minimum 10 years of progressive experience in facilities, EH&S, and workplace operations, with at least 5 years in a leadership role. Experience in biotech or pharmaceutical industry preferred. Strong knowledge of building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing), office equipment, and workplace technologies. Skilled in vendor management, contract negotiation, and project delivery. Proficient in MS Office and workplace management tools. US DOT Hazmat training preferred.
Physical Requirements : Ability to travel domestically & internationally as needed. Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds and perform standard office and site inspection duties.
Salary Range
$139,000$173,700 USD
