Job descriptionProvide excellent customer service to clients, guests, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to help maintain order within retail, mall, and cultural institution settings. Conduct regular and random patrols inside and around the premises, including both the interior and perimeter, to help to deter unauthorized activity and / or disturbances. Observe and report any irregularities such as property damage, suspicious activity, or unusual occurrences to the appropriate Allied Universal personnel and / or client contacts. Collaborate with other Allied Universal team members and on-site staff to support a secure environment for visitors, employees, and property. Maintain a visible presence to provide reassurance to patrons and help to deter potential disruptions within the location. Assist guests and visitors by providing information, guidance, and directions as needed while maintaining a professional and courteous demeanor. Availability across various days and shifts Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available Applicants must be at least 21 years of age. Customer service experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. Security Officer - Cultural Site - Part Time
As a Security Officer in Saint Petersburg, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail / Malls, Cultural Institutions, and more.

Pay Rate : $17.55 / Hour
Job Schedule :
DayTime Thur 02 : 00 PM - 10 : 00 PM
Sat 07 : 00 AM - 03 : 00 PM
What You'll Do :
- Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
- Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
- Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
- Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
- Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise
