Client Performance and Risk Management Analyst
Summary :
The Analyst, CPRM CL essential function is ensuring the continuous ability of Freedom Correspondent clients to meet the certain financial and performance standards necessary to be able to protect The Company from client related losses.
The Client Performance and Risk Management (CPRM) Analyst is responsible for ensuring that prospective clients seeking approval with the Freedom Correspondent Lending (CL) channel meet these standards and for ensuring the continued compliance with these standards.
The CPRM team is the primary defense against client related losses to The Company.
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities :
Reviewing and conducting detailed analysis of Correspondent client’s financial statements to ensure ongoing compliance with Correspondent approval financial requirements and the continued ability of the Correspondent to honor contractual terms and conditions.
Communicating with the CPRM Director, Correspondent Channel Regional Managers, Account Executives and Sales Associates the results of the financial and performance reviews and developing Correspondent strategies to improve performance when necessary.
Perform due diligence of client operational history and overall experience of companies and individuals.
Prepare contractual documents for execution by seller and Correspondent EVP.
Complete onboarding of new clients to include system setup, communication, reporting, and additional tasks required for new client approval.
Review annual recertification documents to ensure clients remain compliant with both company and regulatory guidelines.
Recommend punitive action up to and including client termination when merited.
Maintaining policies and procedure documents to ensure up to date processes and controls are always in place.
Providing well-organized information to management by assembling and summarizing data; preparing reports; making presentations of findings, analyses, and recommendations.
Comply with all company policies and procedures.
Maintain regular and punctual attendance.

Qualifications :
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential function satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and / or ability required.
Strong knowledge of financial statements especially as related to mortgage banking.
Analyzing Information : Financial and mortgage loan performance characteristics.
Reporting Skills.
Experienced in Excel, Word and PowerPoint
Strong communications skills. The CPRM Analyst will be expected to be able to effectively communicate with all levels of management both within Freedom and directly with Correspondent clients.
Education and / or Experience :
Bachelor’s Degree from a Four (4) year College or University
Three (3) to Five (5)+ years’ of experience working in finance and / or accounting, counterparty risk management, and / or Correspondent Lending
Strong knowledge of Finance and Accounting concepts.
Strong knowledge of Correspondent lending and related performance metrics
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations :
