EssentialDuties and Responsibilities : Provides personal care and behavioralassistance / interventions to assigned student(s).

Assisting students with : Classroom activitiesGroomingEating / MealpreparationToiletingAssisting with ambulation and transferservicesManagement of assault / difficultbehaviorCrisis InterventionEncouraging IndependenceMaintaining student safetyImplementation of behavioral plansChanges in assignment due to clientrequest must be verifiedBehavioral Aide is to confirm scheduleweekly with Amergis office staff.

Documents care per Amergis policies andproceduresCommunication notes or incident logsare filled out and turned in on a timely basis when necessary.

Other duties as assignedMinimumRequirements : High School diploma or its equivalent.Associates degree in behavioralstudies or related field, or equivalent experience preferred.

Full command, verbal and written, ofthe English language.Current Health Certificate (ifapplicable)Current CPR card.Current TB Skin test or Chest X-raySuccessful completion of Company testing processSuccessful completion of backgroundscreening and hiring process.
