Accounts Payable Specialist – Pasadena, CA
Duration : Temporary to Hire
Compensation : $25.00-$27.00 hourly
Are you detail-oriented and experienced in accounts payable? Our client is looking to hire an Accounts Payable Specialist to join their dynamic finance team in Pasadena.
Key Responsibilities :
Review and process vendor invoices using an imaging system
Route invoices for approval and code to appropriate G / L accounts
Match invoices to purchase orders or subcontracts
Research and resolve invoice issues and discrepancies
Ensure compliance with established A / P procedures
Reconcile open balances and payment discrepancies with vendors
Collaborate with Purchasing and Credit / Collections teams
Perform other duties as assigned by the A / P Supervisor or Manager
Qualifications :
2+ years of accounts payable experience (construction A / P or accounting system experience a plus)
Proficiency with MS Word and Excel (including formulas and calculations)
Experience with document imaging systems preferred
Excellent customer service and phone skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
Willingness to work overtime and weekends as needed
High school diploma or equivalent required
Pay Details : $25.00 to $27.00 per hour
