Job Title : IT Systems Engineer - Google Cloud Platform (GCP)

Work Location : Remote

Duration of Assignment : 9+ Months Contract

Pay Rate Range : $80.00 - $95.00 / hr on W2

Job Description : Responsibilities :

• Cloud Architecture and Design : Design and deploy scalable, highly available, and fault-tolerant systems on Google Cloud Platform (GCP), ensuring solutions meet business requirements and security standards.
• Infrastructure as Code (IaC) : Develop, manage, and maintain infrastructure using Terraform to automate the provisioning and configuration of GCP resources, promoting consistency and repeatability.
• Automation and CI / CD : Build and maintain CI / CD pipelines to automate the testing and deployment of applications and infrastructure, improving development velocity and reliability.
• Security and Compliance : Implement and manage robust security controls, identity and access management (IAM), and network security configurations to protect cloud environments and ensure compliance with industry regulations.
• Collaboration and Support : Work closely with development, operations, and security teams to provide expert guidance on GCP best practices, troubleshoot complex issues, and support application modernization efforts.
• Monitoring and Optimization : Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions to ensure the health and performance of GCP environments, while actively managing and optimizing costs. Hands on Teraform coding.
