Overview

Technical Accounting Consultant (Contract) – Hybrid, Irvine, CA

CV Resources has partnered with a successful technology company in Irvine that is seeking a hands-on accounting consultant to support their AR and ERP data processes. This individual will work closely with the accounting team to assess, streamline, and execute technical accounting functions within the ERP system.

Responsibilities

  • Jump into existing AR and accounting processes and provide immediate technical support.
  • Analyze and reconcile accounting data to ensure accuracy and consistency across ERP systems.
  • Assist with general accounting tasks, including journal entries and reconciliations (debits / credits, AR, etc.).
  • Collaborate with accounting and IT to identify automation or macro opportunities that improve efficiency.

Requirements

  • Strong background in accounting fundamentals (debits, credits, AR flow).
  • ERP systems (NetSuite, Oracle, SAP, or similar).
  • Advanced Excel abilities (VLOOKUP, pivot tables; macros / automation highly preferred).
  • Ability to work independently, learn systems quickly, and execute tasks accurately.

    $50.00 / hr - $70.00 / hr
