Job Description

We are seeking a Product Engineer to design, analyze, and optimize scaffolding systems for various construction and industrial applications. This role involves structural and mechanical calculations, drawing preparation, product development, and ensuring compliance with safety and industry standards. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, proficiency in structural analysis software, and experience in scaffolding system design.

• Prepare detailed engineering calculations, designs, and drawings for products and newly developed systems to ensure compliance with industry, local, state, and federal guidelines.
• Translate customer requirements into innovative product solutions, progressing from concept and prototyping to full production.
• Model parts and components to support the design and development of new items for our product portfolio.
• Perform preliminary structural calculations and validate designs, performing risk assessment using Finite Element Analysis (FEA) and structural analysis software.
• Develop and test functional prototypes and pre-production models, ensuring they meet performance and safety standards.
• Conduct on-site testing and guide testing at national and international locations to assess product reliability and recommend enhancements.
• Oversee testing processes to obtain final accreditation and certification.
• Review, refine, and approve production drawings, guiding detailers on best practices and professional presentation of shop drawings.
