Senior Mechanical HVAC Engineer

Join Jacobs to design high-performance HVAC systems for heavy industrial clients. This role is based anywhere in the United States, with preference for candidates near a Jacobs U.S. office.

Base salary range : $123,600.00 – $162,300.00 per year.

Responsibilities

• Layout and design of HVAC systems.
• Develop design criteria for HVAC systems including general comfort, precise temperature / humidity control, pressurization, and cleanliness requirements for clean rooms.
• Prepare conceptual and preliminary design documents : sizing calculations, Air Flow Diagrams (AFDs), Process & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs), and general arrangements.
• Prepare final design documents : specifications, operating sequences, duct / piping layout, and construction drawings for chilled water, cooling water, and other systems.
• Coordinate with other disciplines and manage project schedules and technical quality.
