Senior Project Engineer - Heavy Civil (Sarasota)

Theyre currently seeking a Senior Project Engineer to join their growing team and support project delivery from planning through completion.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and interpret project contracts, specifications, and drawings to ensure a clear understanding of project scope and requirements.
• Assist Project Managers and Superintendents with project planning, scheduling, and execution.
• Help prepare and maintain construction schedules, cost reports, and forecasts.
• Solicit, evaluate, and document subcontractor and vendor pricing, including change order requests.
• Coordinate material and equipment procurement to meet project deadlines.
• Work closely with subcontractors, suppliers, and field crews to resolve on-site challenges and maintain progress.
• Support monthly project billing, cash flow projections, and change order processing.
• Manage and track project documentation including submittals, RFIs, permits, and as-built drawings.
• Review and verify daily field reports for accuracy and completeness.
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation such as submittal logs, NPDES permits, and stormwater management plans.
