Job description1+ year experience in institutional cleaning Familiarity with industrial cleaning equipment and procedures Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for long periods, and perform physical tasks safely Strong communication skills and ability to follow written instructions Compliance with position specific immunization requirements, including MMR, Chickenpox / Varicella, Tdap, and seasonal Flu vaccine, as well as a current negative TB test. Sanitation Specialist
Our client, Michigan Medicine, in Ann Arbor, is seeking Kitchen Cleaners to join their team. These are temp-to-hire opportunities that start immediately.
Job Title : Sanitation Specialist
Location : Ann Arbor, MI
Pay Range : $18 - WEEKLY PAY
What's the Job?
- Wash pots and pans using institutional equipment including Power Soak, rack washer, and three-compartment sink
- Sweep and mop kitchen floors; clean sinks, drains, mats, and kitchen equipment
- Remove garbage promptly and clean containers as needed
- Assist in warewash area and complete special cleaning projects
- Maintain logs for cleaning duties and sanitation checks per schedule
