Purchasing Manager

We're seeking a strategic and collaborative Purchasing Manager to oversee procurement and materials planning for a U.S.-based manufacturer. This role ensures a reliable supply of raw materials for domestic production and manages global sourcing for other products. You'll supervise a small team and work closely with Sales, Finance, and Operations to optimize inventory, reduce costs, and strengthen supplier partnerships.

Key Responsibilities :

• Lead purchasing for raw materials and globally sourced products
• Manage and develop a team of purchasing / inventory staff
• Inventory forecasting and demand planning
• Collaborate with Sales, Finance, and Operations to align purchasing with business needs
• Analyze procurement options and conduct cost-benefit analyses
• Negotiate and manage contracts with domestic and international suppliers
• Track and report on purchasing KPIs; set goals for cost savings and vendor reliability

Qualifications :

Salary Range : $115,000-$125,000
