- Receives clients for admission who have been previously approved.
- Make bed checks to make sure all clients are accounted for and to check that the property is secured on an hourly, or as designated basis.
- Enforce house rules.
- Monitor clients and document observations, changes, and needs.
- Provide reports of client's progress or concerns.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and supportive environment for clients
- Alert medical staff on emergency medical cases
- Familiar with emergency procedures and conducts periodic fire drills.
- Notes any irregularities that may need attention and report to appropriate counselors or direct the behavior of clients that need attention.
- Responsible to make rounds of the grounds, as directed, monitoring security of the facilities and properties.
- Must keep current CPR and First Aid certification
QUALIFICATIONS :
Must have a high school diploma or equivalent. Behavioral Health Tech certification a plus.
