Ellie Mental Health is looking for a couples therapist for each of our Ellie locations - Gastonia, Southpark, and Blakeney.

Our awesome Ellie therapists share a vision for improving and expanding access to quality mental health care in the community.

You will curate therapeutic experiences in a modern outpatient setting with comfortable and furnished offices.

Clinic Description

Ellie Mental Health is a kick@$$ mental health company that's seeing incredible growth throughout the U.S. We are excited to bring the Ellie experience to greater Charlotte by serving the area through individual, family, couples, and group therapy services.

Our Ellie "herd" prides itself on being an innovative and creative team that works collaboratively with clients and community providers to deliver the most comprehensive and personalized treatment to all clients.

We are excited to bring on talented, passionate, and collaborative therapists to our Blakeney Ellie team! BIPOC and LGBTQ+ therapists encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities Include :

• Conduct assessments and provide ongoing couples, family, (and some individual!) therapy
• Maintain appropriate clinical documentation : Develop and implement treatment plans, complete ongoing documentation, conduct treatment plan reviews, revise diagnoses as appropriate, etc.
• Maintain a caseload of a minimum of 25 client visits per week.
• Coordinate services with case managers, families, medical personnel, other Ellie staff, and school staff as needed.
• Provide excellent customer service for clients.
• Bring your creativity! Collaborate with your dynamic team of coworkers and other community partners to further the mission of filling gaps in our community.
• Attend and participate in all staff meetings and trainings.
• Show up in our community! Engage in networking and outreach to join our efforts in stigma reduction and the promotion of Ellie.
• Be excellent to each other! You will play a critical role in maintaining a peaceful & happy work environment.

Required Qualifications and Skills :

• Candidates are required to have a master’s degree in one of the behavioral sciences from an accredited college or university
• Candidates must hold independent or associate licensure as a LCSW, LCMHC, LMFT in the state of NC.
• Clinicians with supervisory credentials are strongly encouraged to apply and are eligible for a hiring bonus.
• Out of state candidates must be in process of applying for reciprocity in NC.
• Demonstrable experience in working with couples
• Required experience with assessments, treatment plans, and clinical case notes and ability to submit documentation in a timely manner
• Comfort and familiarity working with a diverse client base
• Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to demonstrate and model stable, appropriate boundaries with clients
• Ability to demonstrate adaptability and solution-oriented thinking

Preferred Qualifications and Skills

• Preferred experience with children, adolescents and teens
• Ideal candidates will have a general knowledge of therapy services, community resources, insurance billing, and previous experience with mental health documentation
• Proficient in the use of Office 365 and Electronic Health Record systems (Valant experience a plus!)
• Current or previous credentialing with insurance panels is preferable but not required

What else you should know :

• This position is located in greater Charlotte, NC (Southpark, Gastonia, Blakeney) with an expected start date of July 2024
• Our clinics offer in person and telehealth options to clients
• This position will be under the direction of the Clinical Manager
• We believe in equal and transparent pay. Once full-time, our salary range is approximately $65,000-$87,000 per year and is contingent on licensure, supervision credentialing, and length of time with Ellie.
