THE ROLE
Our client is seeking a Senior Compensation Analyst to join their Total Rewards team. This role will serve as a key partner across departments, providing analytical, technical, and strategic support for all compensation programs and initiatives. The ideal candidate is a data-driven professional with deep analytical skills, a strong understanding of compensation strategy, and a passion for using data to inform business decisions. This position offers the opportunity to make a significant impact by improving processes, ensuring compliance, and supporting scalable growth across the organization.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
Evaluate new and existing roles to determine salary grades, FLSA classifications, and adjustments.
Conduct market pricing and analysis to guide compensation strategy and ensure competitiveness.
Prepare and present data-driven reports and recommendations to leadership.
Partner with Talent Acquisition to provide compliant, equitable pay ranges for job posting and offers.
Support and enhance compensation systems, ensuring integration, scalability, and accuracy.
Drive process automation and continuous improvement across compensation programs.
Manage annual merit and incentive cycles, including setup, testing, and reporting.
Maintain compliance with pay transparency, FLSA, and EEO laws through audits and documentation.
Oversee day-to-day equity administration, including transactions, reconciliations, and reporting.
Partner with HRIS and People Operations teams to validate data integrity and streamline reporting processes.
WHAT YOU WILL LIKELY NEED
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, with 3+ years in compensation or total rewards.
Proven analytical skills and proficiency working with large datasets and Excel formulas.
Strong knowledge of FLSA, Pay Equity, and compensation-related regulations.
Experience designing or administering base pay, incentive, or job architecture programs.
Familiarity with compensation systems and HRIS platforms (Workday, SAP, UKG, ADP, Wurk).
Understanding of accounting and financial principles related to compensation planning.
Excellent attention to detail, critical thinking, and organizational skills.
Clear communication and relationship-building abilities across teams and leadership levels.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain confidentiality in a dynamic environment.
Certifications such as CCP, GRP, or advanced Excel credentials are a plus.
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS
Must pass any required background checks.
Must comply with all legal or company regulations for working in the industry.
Must possess a valid driver’s license and be at least 21 years of age.
Must be approved by state badging agency to work in the cannabis industry.
This is a remote role with occasional travel as needed.
