Position Summary
The Compensation Analyst will support the design, implementation, and administration of compensation programs that attract, retain, and motivate employees across the manufacturing and corporate functions. This position will play a key role in conducting market analyses, maintaining pay structures, and ensuring internal equity and compliance with applicable regulations.
Key Responsibilities
Compensation Strategy & Analysis :
Analyze market data and compensation trends within the manufacturing industry to maintain competitive and equitable pay practices.
Conduct annual salary benchmarking using survey data.
Support compensation modeling for union and non-union employees.
Program Administration :
Maintain and update job descriptions, pay grades, and compensation structures in alignment with business objectives and budget constraints.
Administer the annual merit increase and incentive bonus processes, ensuring accuracy and alignment with company pay philosophy.
Provide data analytics support for HR and Finance during workforce planning, performance cycles, and organizational changes.
Compliance & Governance :
Ensure all compensation practices comply with FLSA, EEO, and pay equity standards.
Assist in preparation for internal and external audits related to pay programs.
Partner with HR and Legal to ensure compliance with evolving state and federal pay transparency laws.
Business Partnership :
Collaborate with HR Business Partners and plant leadership to advise on pay recommendations, promotions, and retention strategies.
Support leadership in understanding compensation analytics and workforce cost drivers.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, or related field.
3+ years of progressive experience in compensation analysis or total rewards; manufacturing industry experience preferred.
Strong analytical skills with advanced Excel and HRIS reporting capabilities (Workday, SAP, or Oracle experience preferred).
Pay Range :
$35 - $50 per hour based on experience
