Job description

Your primary responsibilities will include :

  • Conducting prescribed radiographic and fluoroscopic exams with precise technical factors.
  • Positioning patients accurately for imaging and assisting radiologists as needed.
  • Ensuring accurate documentation for all exams and images.
  • Providing proper radiation protection to patients and staff.
  • Reporting equipment issues to the Imaging Department Manager.
  • Preparing and assisting with contrast media during examinations.
  • Contributing to the Film / PACS media library operations.
  • Assisting with patient scheduling and processing when necessary.

    • What we’re looking for :

  • A graduate of an approved school of radiologic technology.
  • Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.
  • A current valid license issued by the State of Oregon Board of Medical Imaging.
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or willingness to complete it within 90 days of hire.
  • A thorough understanding of human anatomy and radiation exposure.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to work collaboratively with physicians, patients, and staff.
  • Availability to work weekends.

    • Preferred Qualifications :

  • At least one year of experience in a Radiology Department with similar complexity.

    • Work Environment :

  • Moderately quiet workspace with exposure to diverse patient conditions.
