SUMMARY :

The Vice President of New Business Development is an executive level role responsible for driving growth by identifying, developing, and securing new business opportunities. This role involves strategic planning, partnership development, market expansion, and revenue generation. The VP of New Business Development works closely with sales, marketing, and executive leadership to expand the company’s market presence and drive long-term success.

This role is ideal for a dynamic, strategic leader with a passion for driving business growth, identifying new opportunities, and building lasting partnerships.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities : include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Business Growth & Strategy

Develop and execute a comprehensive new business development strategy aligned with company goals.

Drive lead generation efforts and establish relationships with key decision-makers.

Analyze industry trends, customer needs, and competitive landscapes to inform business strategy.

Establish and nurture relationships with potential clients, partners, and industry stakeholders.

Work closely with sales, marketing, product development, and finance teams to align business development initiatives with overall company objectives.

Build and lead a high-performing business development team.

Education and / or Experience :

Computer and Technology Skills :

The successful candidate must be proficient in MS Office applications, SAP and or other ERP systems.

Language Skills :

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedural manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of the organization. German language speaking skills is another advantage.

Mathematical Skills :

Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and ability to apply concepts such as : fractions, percentages, ratios and proportions to practical situations.

Reasoning Ability :

Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
