As the District Structural Engineer, you will have the opportunity to :

Conduct visits to construction projects under jurisdiction of DSA to ensure compliance with building code and DSA regulations.

This Field Engineer will oversee projects located around the North Bay of the San Francisco Bay Area, and the Northern California coastal region

Provide field oversight to DSA project inspectors

Review Construction Change documents

Monitor construction progress and facilitate meetings with engineers, architects, inspectors, school district officials, testing labs, clients, and stakeholders

Approve assignment of DSA inspectors for new construction projects

Provide post-disaster building assessments

Minimum Qualifications :

  • CA Structural Engineering License
  • CA driver’s license
