VP of Marketing

Reporting to the CEO, the VP of Marketing will be a critical part of the leadership team to define and execute the organization's growth strategy.
You Will
- Define, drive, and deliver marketing KPIs
- Take responsibility for the annual marketing plan, strategy, and team
- Lead marketing forecasting and planning to optimize conversions across all channels
- Manage execution of plans across functions and teams as needed to meet business objectives and drive success stories
- Prioritize goals and drive your team and agencies to get the job done
- Ensure sufficient internal communication and awareness of programs with Product, Sales, and other teams
- Develop and manage the marketing budget, and recommend appropriate marketing strategies and investments across all channels
- Serve as a member of the Leadership team to help shape Smartling's vision, strategy and plans to maintain leadership in the localization industry
- Stay ahead of industry trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences to inform marketing strategies and refine product positioning
- Support Smartling's HR and Recruiting functions by showcasing our company culture and forecasting hiring needs for the marketing department
You Have
Senior-level experience developing and achieving successful marketing strategies for a fast-growing innovative AI company5+ years in executive, managerial, or people leadership capacities, or equivalent entrepreneurship rolesA process-oriented and data-driven approach to building awareness and consideration at the top of the funnel and conversions throughoutExperience playing a key role in defining exceptional brandsDemonstrated ability in brand storytelling and messaging that shows the value of our platform, team, and customersDemonstrable experience designing and implementing successful marketing campaignsAbility to maintain highly strategic thinking and thrive in a high-growth, entrepreneurial, and ambiguous environmentClear, concise, and compelling communication (visual, verbal, and written) skillsProven ability to lead through influenceProven success in accelerating sales growth by supporting Sales and Engagement teamsWorked with agencies and providers and know how to complement internal and external capabilitiesYou Are
