Payroll Clerk

LHH is working with a large company that is looking for a Payroll Clerk for their team. This temporary to hire position will require high attention to detail and accuracy. The manager would like to find someone who has at least a year of payroll processing experience, but the team is willing to train someone with an HR or accounting background. Your main tasks will be processing payroll, supporting new hires and terminations, and monthly payroll reporting tasks. This position is fully onsite in the Bothell, WA office where there is free parking. The team is looking for immediate help so apply now if you are interested.

Responsibilities :

• Process weekly payroll for employees with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Verify time and attendance records, resolve discrepancies, and handle payroll adjustments as necessary.
• Process new hires, terminations, promotions, and other employment status changes in the payroll system.
• Prepare and submit monthly payroll reports to management.
• Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll, deductions, and tax-related matters.
• Stay updated on changes in payroll regulations, tax laws, and labor laws to ensure compliance.
