Job descriptionManage mechanical integrity work for methane reformers, burners and other furnace and boilers Part of central engineering and project team for company chemical plants along the gulf coast Manage projects - scope + budget smaller projects & part of team for larger Work with the "usual" API and piping codes you would see in refineries and reformers. Manage NDT work with pressure vessels, burners, tubes, etc, with multiple-alloys. Work with all from engineered materials / exotic alloys to refractories Extensive work with multiple teams - mechanical integrity is in the middle of it all! 4 year degree + in mechanical 10+ years of experience in areas related to mechanical integrity, combustion engineering, fixed equipment reliability, etc Must have most of that experience in or around plants - ideally reformers (methane, ammonia plants, hydrogen plants) refineries, etc. Legal to work in the U.S. legally, not needing a visa now or at a later date

Mechanical Engineer - Furnace Design
A global chemical manufacturing company needs a mechanical design / reliability engineer with extensive experience in furnaces to lead efforts for a series of reformers and related processes on the gulf coast.
Key :
- MUST have experience in high-temp furnaces (SMRs, ethylene / ethane crackers, pyrolysis...)
- Experience must include design and reliability
- Mechanical engineering degree

Requirements :
Salary is approx $140,000 - $157,000 plus bonus.
