Job Description
The General Manager provides leadership, direction, and support to a property operations team to facilitate the effective management of a large urban mixed-use development and deliver superior customer service while maximizing the value of the asset. He or she will work collaboratively to develop the long-term strategy, annual business plans, and operating budget.
People
- Conduct bi-weekly meeting with all managers
- Conduct new office and retail tenant orientations
- Conduct quarterly meetings with office tenants
- Review and provide feedback on retail and office annual survey
- Review residential survey results with all managers
- Recruit and select talent for any open positions
- Conduct semi-annual performance reviews for all direct reports
- Review and approved performance reviews from Assistant General Manager and Service Manager
- Implement and maintain associate retention initiatives
- Leverage vendor partnerships

Develop and maintain all Standard Operating Procedures for managed areasProduce and / or review all required reporting including weekly leasing report, CAM reconciliation report, real estate tax reconciliation report, monthly Samuel & Associates report, and quarterly goal setting and updateAttend and / or conduct all required meetings including weekly management team meeting, budget process meetings, weekly cadence meeting, monthly Samuels & Associates financial statement meeting, monthly VPNE financial statement meeting, weekly Janitronics meeting, weekly meeting with property accountant, weekly meeting with Chief Operations Officer, monthly and budget meeting for Condo Owners, monthly Resident BFC meetings, and monthly YieldStar callQualifications & Skills :
College degree preferred.Real Estate of business-related course of study preferredSales experience and or / real estate leasing requiredProperty management and leasing experience is essentialExcellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills necessaryExperience with Yardi, MRI, YieldStar, and LevelOne is preferredAbility to interpret, evaluate, and communicate detailed written or verbal instructions to other accurately and quickly, including answering phones, attending meetings, written correspondence, or other forms of communicationAbility to lift, push, pull or carry up to 15 pounds for the dissemination of documents, supplies, materials, etc. to various locations throughout the office / facilityCommitment to Diversity Equity and Inclusion :
