OR RN- Traveler

We are seeking an experienced Operating Room (OR) Registered Nurse (RN) for a 13-week travel assignment . The OR RN provides direct and specialized nursing care to patients undergoing surgical procedures, ensuring safe and efficient operating room management and patient outcomes. This role requires flexibility with varying shift times and participation in on-call rotations.

Key Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients before, during, and after surgical procedures.

Circulate and / or scrub for a variety of surgical cases, including DaVinci Xi robotic procedures .

Maintain sterile technique and ensure all surgical instruments and equipment are properly prepared.

Collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and surgical teams to ensure safe, efficient operations.

Monitor patient condition, vital signs, and anesthesia response during surgery.

Document care accurately and promptly in the EMR system.

Participate in on-call and call-back coverage as scheduled.

Qualifications (Legally Required)

Current and valid RN License Required (state-specific)

BLS and ACLS (American Heart Association) Required

Minimum 2 years of recent OR experience Required

Acute care hospital experience Required

DaVinci Xi experience Preferred

Shift Details

Assignment Type : Traveler

Schedule : 5x8-hour shifts, 40 hours per week

Shift Times : 0630 1500 or 1045 1900 (varies)

On-Call : Required (1 2 days per week depending on experience / case load)

Weekend Call : Every other or every third weekend
