JOB REQUIREMENTS : Position Description : APP Psychiatry and Mental Health Fellowship More Information : Purpose : The APP Psychiatry and Mental Health Fellowship is an immersive 12-month program in mental health focusing on underserved populations in a community-based setting.
It attracts APPs seeking a structured educational program to support and guide their development of proficient clinical decision making and their application of specialized skills in the care of the mentally ill patients through in-person didactics and mentored clinical experiences.
Provides specialty health care services within defined scope of practice in collaboration with a licensed psychiatrist and in accordance with MCW / FMLH policies and procedures.
The Fellowship is an academic clinical partnership between the Medical College of Wisconsin, Froedtert Hospital, Children 's Hospital of Wisconsin, and University of Wisconsin - Milwaukee, and other affiliates.
It is an immersive, longitudinal transition to practice 12-month residency in mental health focusing on underserved populations in community-based settings.
Trainees will gain interdisciplinary team-based experiences across the life span. It will consist of core clinical rotations in a variety of ambulatory settings and an inpatient setting, elective rotations in specialized ambulatory settings, and didactic experiences Anticipated Workweek : Position requires flexibility with respect to clinical rotations spanning inpatient and outpatient settings.
