As an essential corporate function, OOCL's Outbound Trade department oversees and manages all commercial aspects relating to outgoing vessel utilization and profitability specific to an individual Trade (i.e. Transatlantic / Transpacific / Latin America) and customer segment (i.e. BCO / NVO / Major Commodity). This includes strategic planning, dynamic market analysis, contract and rate negotiation, and tactical execution to provide extended support to our sales organization. The candidate should possess excellent analytical and implementation abilities along with advanced communication skills to ensure buy-in from internal stakeholders and customers alike.
