Strong troubleshooting and critical thinking skills. Ability to oversee physical workload. 3, 4 & 5 axis CNC Horizontal setup. Knowledge of FANUC controls. Functional and Technical skills. Read and edit programs. Full Time positions for Lathe / Mill Setup Operators
Functions :
- Oversee and coordinate machining operations and activities.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues in a timely fashion.
- Load and unload equipment and materials.
- Be able to setup / operate CNC FANUC control.
- Precise setting of all tool offsets.
- Must have mathematical skills for calculating set-up requirements, including basic math, geometry and trigonometry.
- Set up and operate machines with little supervision.
- Able to read and understand Engineering drawings / blueprints.
- Able to plan machining process, study work orders, drawings, materials, specifications, and machine capabilities.
- Interpret geometric dimensions and tolerances (GD&T) and read drawings.
- Must be familiar with G-Code machine language.
- Conduct routine preventive maintenance on machines.
