Senior Electronics Test Technician

Job Description
WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING :
Under liberal supervision, assist Electrical Engineers in planning and testing of electrical / mechanical components. Preparing electrical components for testing using advanced test equipment.
Equipment includes,
- Environmental Chambers
- Oscilloscope
- Surge Tester
- Electrostatic Discharge Tester
- Data Acquisition Equipment
- Programable Power Supplies
Qualifications
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR :
- Requires a high school diploma or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- A two year degree or equivalent is preferred
- Requires at least 5 years related experience
- Excellent oral and written communication skills working with Engineers and the ability for critical thinking.
- Expert knowledge of design techniques, tools, and principles involved in production of precision technical plans.
- Knowledge of schematics, wiring diagrams, blueprints and models.
The ability to :
- Devise and fabricate test fixtures.
- Follow lab test procedures.
- Program automated test stations.
- Generate wiring diagrams for testing set up.
- Work with Excel, Word and PowerPoint at a highly proficient level.
- Write clear and concise test report results.
- Analyze data and determine pass / fail based on acceptance criteria.
- Work with voltages at a PCB level up to 575 vac, three phase.
