What You Will Get To Do :
- Partners with Finance, Legal, Facilities, business unit leaders, and other corporate / regional functions to identify, measure, analyze, and manage the company’s risk profile, along with a myriad of business and cyber issues that impact the company’s global insurance program
- Manages positive and professional relationships with brokers, insurance carriers, claim handlers, loss adjusters, and other vendors and colleagues across the globe to support global insurance placements, loss mitigation, contractual risk transfer, and claims management processes
- Provides guidance and recommendations for all lines of insurance provisions, including coverage amounts, renewals, and insurance budget and allocation
- Coordinates the completion of insurance application forms, client and vendor contract reviews, negotiations of insurance and indemnity provisions, and premium payments
- Recommends policies, solutions, or decisions on risk management, coverage cost issues, and various challenges affecting the organization to senior and executive management
- Demonstrating a strong attention to detail and accuracy, manages global risk exposure data collection, quality control, and the improvement of processes and procedures
- Collaborates with Legal to administer the claims reporting process and decision making on notices on claims to carriers
- Responds to internal and external requests for insurance information, including RFP’s, evidence of insurance coverages and issuance of certificates of insurance to clients and regulators
- Participates on cross-functional merger and acquisitions project teams to conduct and oversee insurance due diligence and integration into the insurance program
- Creates formal networks with key decision makers and works on the most complex and critical issues that impact the direction and success of the business that require new and innovative approaches
What You Will Bring :
- Master’s or Bachelor’s degree required
- 8+ years of experience in the insurance industry
- Demonstrates a comprehensive and sophisticated understanding of Professional Insurance coverages, including Directors and Officers, Professional Liability, and Cyber Liability coverages.
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
