About the Role :
As the AVP of Operations, you?ll play a critical role in ensuring operational efficiency, compliance, and superior customer service. Depending on your experience, you may oversee a few key departments or multiple operational areas, with the opportunity to expand responsibility over time. You?ll collaborate with senior leadership to implement strategies that align with business objectives, enhance performance, and support company growth.
Key Responsibilities :
- Lead and manage daily operations across assigned departments, ensuring seamless workflow and high-quality service.
- Develop and execute operational strategies that improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance the customer experience.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations and internal policies to mitigate operational risks.
- Mentor and guide managers, fostering high-performing teams and a culture of accountability and collaboration.
- Monitor KPIs and operational metrics to identify opportunities for improvement and cost savings.
- Collaborate with IT and other teams to implement system enhancements that streamline processes.
- Support digital transformation initiatives that optimize operational efficiency and the customer journey.
Qualifications :
Bachelor?s or Master?s degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related insurance field.10+ years of progressive experience in insurance operations management, in Individual Life or Voluntary Benefits.Strong knowledge of insurance products, regulatory requirements, and operational best practices.Proven ability to lead large teams, manage complex functions, and drive business results.Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.Proficiency in project management and technology tools to support operational excellence.Why You?ll Love This Opportunity :
