The Opportunity

Delaware North Sportservice is searching for an Accounting Manager to join our team at Nationwide Arena in Columbus, Ohio.

As an Accounting Manager, you will oversee a variety of accounting functions including reporting, consolidating financial results, and performing accounts payable invoice approvals.

Minimum Anticipated Maximum Base Salary : $56900 - $76800 / year

In addition to base salary, we offer an annual bonus plan based on company and individual performance, or a role-based, uncapped sales incentive plan.

Responsibilities

• Lead the operations team with the administration of internal controls and audit policies and procedures to ensure compliance
• Translate accounting strategy into operational goals and objectives and execute against those strategies and standards
• Lead by example, coach, and mentor your operations team, and ensure team members have opportunities to learn and grow
• Support the annual plan and projection process for your location, provide insightful reviews of year-over-year changes, and recommend areas of focus to improve operating margins
• Collaborate with other teams, functions, and data owners across the company to align on process and data issues and ensure required changes to policies or procedures are implemented
• Execute month-end and year-end tasks promptly

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or associate degree in accounting or business-related subject
• 3+ years of accounting experience including previous supervisory experience
• Inventory control and auditing experience is a plus
• Hospitality Industry experience preferred
• Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
• Expertise in driving continuous improvement and business process management
• Ability to deliver accurate timely results with minimal supervision
