Position Summary
The Electrical Project Engineer PE will lead the engineering and design of commercial, educational, and healthcare projects from concept through construction. This role includes preparing construction documents, coordinating with clients and consultants, and conducting site visits to review electrical systems. Healthcare experience is a plus.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead electrical design for building systems including power, lighting, fire alarm, and low voltage systems
- Prepare and review construction documents and specifications
- Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, and internal teams
- Ensure compliance with applicable codes and standards
- Conduct site visits during design and construction phases
- Utilize AutoCAD and Revit for design and documentation
Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE)Licensed Professional Engineer (PE)915 years of experience in electrical power system design, lighting, fire alarm, and low voltage systemsKnowledge of NFPA 70, NFPA 72, NFPA 99, NFPA 101, International Energy Conservation Code, and International Building CodeFamiliarity with IES, IEEE, UL, and NECA standardsStrong communication and relationship?building skillsCompensation
Annual base salary range : $130,000 to $165,000Annual discretionary bonus based on company and individual performanceBonus eligibility and amount are based upon company and / or individual performanceCompensation may vary based on location, experience, and qualificationsMedical Insurance : 100% of employee major medical insurance premium is paid by the company. The company pays 75% of the dependent premium.
