About the role
We are looking for a Manager Delivery Partner who will play a key role in managing the HR / Payroll space : dedicated business partner for specific entities, managing payroll projects and process improvements, ensure compliance & audit and managing people.
Reporting to the Director, Employee Support & Payroll Services, you will be responsible for :
- Managing a Team that will be responsible for Payroll and HR Data management advisory (within the regional for the RioTinto Group)
- Collaborate and build relationships on behalf of Director with the different stakeholders such IT, Global mobility, HR operations, HR Business partners.
- to manage demands and process changes.
- Support the director in regular planning, (demand management and pipeline assessment / scheduling)
- Being knowledgeable of the end-to-end Payroll activities for both US & Canada (asset) including the Employee Data Management and Payroll Accounting.
- Responsible to manage and implement material demand changes within your regional scope (could include system testing)
- Ensure Local and Global compliance is withheld within our operations in your daily activities.
- Being the local Employee Service & Payroll Services Manager for that region in a global team.
- Support and further develop our Shared Service model in region with our different Global Hubs.
- Reporting and presenting Payroll and employee services performance.
- Support the director in strategic planning in region (how to better our service offering to our business units.
- Support Business Improvements initiatives and support Service Delivery Teams in implementing, controlling and process standardization.
What you'll bring :
To be successfully considered for this role, you will have :
- Degree qualifications in related discipline and / or solid of minimum 7-10 years' experience delivering business solutions for pay, employee data management or related projects in a large organization.
- Payroll expertise (end to end) process owner (including understand the Employee Data Management and Payroll Accounting processes)
- Fluent in local US - CAD (an asset) payroll
- Exposed to and understand controls and compliance from a Global Organizational perspective (SOX)
- SAP knowledge
- Communication skills : fluent in reporting and concise updates
- Leadership of teams in different countries coaching and performance management of team.
- Inspiring leader and engaging person
- Good interpersonal skills empathetic stakeholder management
- BI Project mindset look over processes for business improvement and automation.
- Scope validate and sign off on processes are performed.
- Shared Services exposure and India Backoffice exposure
