Job Summary
The Financial Analyst works closely with the finance team to support financial planning, reporting, and decision-making processes. This role requires strong analytical skills and a deep understanding of financial concepts to drive planning and analysis activities.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Support the development and maintenance of financial forecasts, annual budgets, and long-range planning by analyzing trends, historical data, and market conditions.
- Assist in updating and validating financial models, reports, and planning tools, ensuring alignment with the organization's general ledger and financial systems.
- Collaborate with budget administrators and cross-functional teams to create realistic budgets, improve the budgeting process, and provide variance analysis.
- Monitor financial performance, identify variances, and design reporting solutions to enhance transparency and support decision-making.
- Participate in financial system integrations and testing to ensure accurate, timely reporting and streamlined processes.
- Track and report on capital projects and investment activity, ensuring timely reconciliation, budget adherence, and appropriate asset capitalization.
- Prepare materials and financial reports for leadership and relevant committees, including key financial data, tables, and / or graphs that highlight trends and progress to date.
- Contribute to the documentation and continuous improvement of budgeting and forecasting policies, procedures, and systems.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or economics3+ years in financial analysis or a similar roleProficiency in financial modeling, data analysis, and reporting toolsPreferred Qualifications
Experience with Planful, Intacct, bill.com, ADP, and Salesforce softwareDemonstrated understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)Certified Public Accounting (CPA) license preferredWork Environment
The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. The setting for this role will include office environments with controlled temperatures.
Pay Details : $90,000.00 to $100,000.00 per year
