Job Description :
The Patient Care Coordinator (PCC) serves as a key member of the team, guiding patients through their consultation experience for vision correction procedures such as LASIK, ICL, and CLR. This role acts as the primary point of contact, providing information, answering questions, explaining procedures, and presenting pricing and financing options to help patients make confident decisions about their vision correction journey.

- Acts as a liaison between patients and providers, ensuring clear communication, addressing concerns, and building confidence in vision correction options.
- Develops personalized care plans, walks patients through consultations, and collaborates with the clinical team to align treatment with patient needs.
- Schedules and coordinates appointments, referrals, and procedures efficiently to support seamless patient flow.
- Gathers and manages patient health history, insurance information, and treatment details, ensuring confidentiality and data accuracy.
- Explains vision correction procedures, risks, benefits, and care instructions in an understandable, compassionate manner.
- Assists patients with insurance verification, pre-authorizations, and understanding their financial responsibilities.
- Identifies and resolves barriers to care, ensuring patients receive comprehensive support throughout their journey.
- Presents pricing and financing options confidently and supports patients in scheduling their procedures.
- Performs quick and accurate data entry, maintains organized records, and ensures compliance with policies and regulations.
- Remains current on relevant practices, systems, and organizational policies and procedures.
- Performs additional duties as assigned.

Works effectively with clinical staff, doctors, and administrative teams to deliver an exceptional patient experience.Required :

Education : High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelors degree in healthcare administration, nursing, or a related field preferred.Experience : Prior experience in sales, customer service, or healthcare coordination preferred; experience in a fast-paced clinical environment is a plus.Strong verbal and written communication skills.Excellent phone and in-person communication.Quick and accurate data entry.Strong computer and organizational skills including intermediate knowledge of Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Google Drive or similar cloud-based file management systems.Ability to multitask and work in a team environment.Confident, friendly, and reliable.Values Alignment : Demonstrated commitment to core values Be Precise, Honor Each Person, Reach for Remarkable, and Stay Humble.Non-exempt / Hourly Position Commission Eligible
