Associate Patient Care Coordinator
Our client is looking for a dedicated Associate Patient Care Coordinator to join their team in Oklahoma City, OK. In this contract position, the Associate Patient Care Coordinator will play a critical role in providing exceptional support to patients and healthcare providers. The ideal Associate Patient Care Coordinator is a strong communicator, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks in a dynamic environment.
Responsibilities :
- Provide outstanding customer service by assisting patients with scheduling appointments and addressing inquiries.
- Accurately process and document patient information, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with healthcare regulations.
- Coordinate referrals and manage benefit functions, including insurance coverage, deductibles, and copays.
- Utilize tools such as Microsoft Excel and Outlook to maintain accurate records and streamline clerical tasks.
- Support clinical staff by handling receptionist duties, processing payments, and managing paperwork.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth clinic operations and a positive patient experience.
- Communicate sensitive information clearly and professionally to diverse audiences, including non-medical staff.
- Perform general administrative tasks such as faxing, filing, and managing spreadsheets.
- Ensure compliance with clinical trial operations and other healthcare protocols as required.
- Respond promptly to offshore and on-site inquiries to ensure seamless communication.
Requirements :
Proven experience in customer service, preferably in a healthcare setting.Strong verbal and written communication skills to interact effectively with patients and staff.Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and other office software.Familiarity with medical terminology, insurance processes, and benefit functions.Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion.Experience in clerical and receptionist duties, including appointment scheduling and documentation.Knowledge of clinical trial operations and healthcare protocols is a plus.Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
