Resident Services Coordinator - Woodglen Vista

This role involves working closely with individuals who are currently experiencing or transitioning from homelessness. The ideal candidate will be able to set boundaries with clients while fostering a supportive environment that promotes dignity, trust, and understanding.

Location : Santee, CA

Status : Full Time, Hourly

Wage : $21 / hr + Benefits

Primary Objective of Position

The Resident Services Coordinator will develop and implement programs serving children, families, and seniors living in our apartment community. The coordinator will work 40 hours a week organizing educational and socialization activities.

Major Areas of Accountability

• Assess resident needs via surveys and interviews.
• Plan and direct on-site meetings, activities, and programs for residents.
• Identify and assist residents with community resources.
• Facilitate and supervise virtual programs.
• Develop the community newsletter.
• Maintain relationships with property managers, partners, and volunteers.
• Maintain physical and administrative organization.
• Assist residents with computer lab usage.
• Outreach to the community.
• Refer residents to support agencies.
• Collect and report program data.
• Provide a safe environment for youth.
• Offer homework assistance and implement curriculum for children.
• Recruit and supervise volunteers.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Physical Demands

The Resident Services Coordinator must be able to talk, hear, sit, use hands and fingers, stand, walk, and lift 25 lbs. Reasonable accommodations may be made for individuals with disabilities.

The work environment is typically in a recreational room or common area with moderate noise levels.
