Supervises a small team within an operational function, ensuring day-to-day activities are delivered efficiently and to a high standard. Provides coaching, allocates work, and acts as the first escalation point for team issues.
Supervises the day-to-day operational activities of skilled, non-exempt and possibly exempt level employees who have responsibility for daily operational tasks in a customarily recognized department or functional area of the organization.
Writes and conducts employee performance reviews and provides ongoing performance feedback with management consultation.
Makes hiring recommendations.
Assists with all personnel management and goal setting for the functional area.
Provides regular status updates and reports to Manager.
Works with multiple parties to coordinate the completion of the title process.
Monitors and tracks the workflow from searcher and vendors.
Coordinates multi-site project intake and transaction management.
Reviews and validates the accuracy of data contained within order requests, production reports, vendor search work and internal systems.
Verifies file completeness, obtains outstanding title documents, and approves completed files.
Performs special projects. Assists with title production support services and settlement services preparation.
Develops strong relationships with vendors and internal stakeholders.
Monitors processes and resolves issues to achieve SLAs. Reports issues to internal stakeholders as appropriate.
Implements best practices, develops performance standards, policies, and procedures, and provides tools necessary for effective and consistent management of vendors.
Analyzes vendor performance and identifies performance trends taking corrective action as necessary to improve performance.
Bachelors degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
3-5 years of directly related experience.
2+ years demonstrated experience in a lead or supervisory role.
Successful track record of executing day to day operational responsibilities, along with participating in, developing and completing projects in area of expertise.
Able to implement and enforce processes to ensure compliance and quality.
Able to establish and maintain effective working relationships at the departmental level.
Provides others with reliable information and uses good listening skills.
Proficient MS Office skill set.
Excellent verbal / written communication skills.
Strong attention to detail.
Strong problem solving and organizational skills.
Always maintain professionalism and a positive service attitude.
Working knowledge of company and / or client operating systems.
Salary Range : $62,700 - $83,600.00 Annually. This hiring range is a reasonable estimate as calculated based on salary data of qualified employees, current paid offers, and budgeted range for the position.
