As a Firmware Engineer at Micron Technology, Inc., you will build groundbreaking high-performance controller firmware for volatile and non-volatile memory systems! You will assist in the evaluation, creation, build, bench testing, debugging, and failure analyzes of firmware for new high-performance memory controllers and Solid State Drives (SSD) that will improve performance, while reducing power, latency and SoC (System on Chip) complexity for the target sectors.

You can expect to partner multi-disciplinary Engineers seek multi-functional product development issues! You will triage failures, file bug reports, and help the development teams with isolating issues.

Position Description :

Track and close security firmware issues or ensure transfer to subsequent design

Function as an authority in secure product development

Assess and mitigate vulnerabilities in Micron products

Review security mechanisms and security architecture of products

Requirements :

Degree or equivalent experience in information assurance / information security

Experience with analyze vulnerabilities, including severity ratings (CVSS and Common Criteria)

Practical and theoretical cryptography experience

Ability to work with multiple teams across a large organization

Understanding of Secure Development Lifecycles

Experience with Security standards : NIST, ISO, FIPS

Experience threat modeling

Experience reviewing design and architecture of the security functionality of products

Desirable :

Software development experience

Embedded system experience

Understanding of Agile and CI / CD software development

Experience with Hardware development

Supply Chain security experience
