Position Summary :

Perforce is looking for a Staff Accountant to work closely with the Accounting Supervisor and accounting team to assist in the day-to-day accounting responsibilities with a focus on payroll accounting. The candidate will be a key member of the accounting team that will be responsible for accurate and timely journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reporting. The ideal candidate will have a strong accounting foundation. The candidate must demonstrate the ability to use accounting knowledge and previous experience to add value and assist in meeting the department's objectives while working in a fast-paced, continually changing, and high-growth environment.

Responsibilities :

• Responsible for compiling payroll information and posting into the general ledger across multiple subsidiaries
• Prepare and analyze bonus / commission calculations and entries
• Analyze payroll data and resolve accounting discrepancies and irregularities
• Assist with the monthly financial close by recording journal entries, preparing account reconciliations and maintaining accurate supporting analysis and documentation
• Cross train with and provide back up to other accounting staff

Requirements :

$62,000 - $72,400 a year

This position will be eligible for the Annual Bonus Plan.
