In this position... As a Engine Components Buyer, you will be responsible for critical components such as Composite Intake Manifolds, Oil Pans, and Engine Covers, sealant systems, plastic metal components etc. across various programs. Your expertise will drive the strategic direction, sourcing execution, and productivity initiatives (Total Value Management - TVM), ensuring the seamless delivery of high-quality plastic parts to Ford Engine and Transmission Plants. This role demands a proactive approach to supplier relationship management and a keen eye for market trends, working collaboratively with Product Development (PD), Supplier Technical Assistance (STA), and Material Planning & Logistics (MP&L) to achieve aggressive Year-over-Year (YoY) cost, quality, and on-time delivery (OTD) targets.
